Hyundai has switched gears from their Duh campaign of last year to the Hyundai Holiday Sales Event.
I’m not going to lie, but I liked the Duh ads a lot better than this generic effort.
And yes I noticed, some economy cars are keeping with the holiday theme. In fact, Honda is doing Happy Honda Days. But I can’t find the Honda spots on youtube anywhere. Oh well.
And more luxury vehicles as presents. Yeah!! Here’s Infiniti’s Limited Engagement Winter Sales Event.
I think I like this spot better than the Lexus spot only because it doesn’t show someone receiving a new luxury vehicle for the holidays.
Well this is sort of a luxury car, so it sticks with my holiday theory.
Not too much to say about this spot other than I have no clue what the Volvos were driving on. Looks like some big wood table.
Saved by Toyotathon. This is honestly the spot of all spots becuase it took the place of one of the most annoying commercials of 2008. I would rather watch three Head On commercials than watch that terrible Saved by Zero commercial again.

I think these spots are a little rushed. There’s just too much stuff in here. The set up is long, the computer is strange and the joke is terribly stale. Throw in a bad German accent (sounds like someone trying to imitate Seth McFarlane doing a German accent) and you have yourself a lemon. Technically not that lemon… but a bad lemon. Nevermind.
