Seems like the luxury manufacturers are sticking with the holiday themes.

I was getting really depressed by all these non-holiday car ads. Then I saw this Subaru ad for their Share the Love event.

I want to smile like that while leaning on my Subaru full of bumper stickers!!

If this spot was any longer… I think the somber piano music in the background would have made me tear up. Then, of course, I find this spot. Thankfully the dog saved me from crying. He’s just so cute and raggedy.

“Bah-humbug,” said the copywriter to another cold non holiday ad.

What day is it? Tis the day Nissan delivers.

This holiday season’s theme seems to be the economy. Here’s Mazda’s spot… Mazdanomics.

I like it much better than the Chrysler ad that was written like a dealer ad and the Ford ad that belongs in 2006. But these ads still feel kind of weird to me. It’s almost like having a real Christmas tree all your life, then going to fake tree. What? You have no idea what I’m writing about. Ok, fine. I’ll keep looking for more ads and keep my commentary to a minimum.
