Riversimple Hydrogen Car
Today’s Google alert of interest is an article on newsbuzz.com about the unveiling of a urban two-seater hydrogen car in London created by RiverSimple. According to the article, the car is to be a ‘open source’ car, meaning that “the company will distribute the engineering designs to the 40 Fires foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that will make the designs “open source”. Creating this open source car would allow smaller manufacturing plants around the country. This would allow design changes in the car depending on where it was manufactured. Improved design changes would be sent back to contribute to the development of the product line.
More information on the hydrogen car can be found at the RiverSimple website.
